CRFM; Who We are.
CRFM is the only local radio station that covers Carlisle and the surrounding area. We are a community station on 102.7FM, committed and focused on the wellbeing and interaction with our local community. Run by volunteers from Carlisle, we pride ourselves on providing informative programming for the people of Carlisle by the people of Carlisle.
We will focus on local issues, news and current affairs, by giving local people and groups a platform so they can involve, educate and inform our listeners.
CRFM will open its doors, to train, and involve local people by introducing them to this wonderful media. Music, topical information, local traffic reports, news and fun competitions will be the order of the day as part of our entertainment value.
We will invite guests from all spectrums, including medical to discuss matters such as health, mental wellbeing and dietary concepts. Local councillors will be invited in to discuss such issues as environmental problems, road repairs and all over areas that the council are responsible for that the people of Carlisle wish to find out more about, or even challenge decisions that the council have made on their behalf.
The services that we offer on air will be replicated on our website, making it the first choice online for our listeners for information, news, travel and what’s going on in and around the area. We pride ourselves in training new presenters from the local area and hope that the next Fiona Armstrong is just around the corner.
CRFM guarantees to be the full package for the communities of Carlisle and the surrounding areas, we will revitalize local radio into what the people want, need and will receive. TERMS & CONDITIONS OF OUR ON AIR COMPETITIONS
CRFM Radio CIC – Competition Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all competitions run by CRFM Radio CIC (“CRFM Radio”, “we”, “us”, “our”) on air, online, and via our social media or messaging channels.
By entering any CRFM Radio competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
- Eligibility
Competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 or over, unless otherwise stated.
Employees, volunteers, and immediate family members of CRFM Radio CIC or any associated organisations are not eligible to enter.
CRFM Radio reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and to withhold or withdraw prizes if eligibility conditions are not met.
- How to Enter
Entries may be made via:
WhatsApp, Text Message, Email
Entry methods, opening and closing dates, and any specific rules will be clearly stated in each competition announcement.
- Prizes
The prize will be as described in the competition announcement.
Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
CRFM Radio reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable.
Winners will be notified using the contact details provided at the time of entry.
- Winner Selection & Prize Collection
Winners will be chosen fairly and in accordance with the rules of each competition (for example, by random draw or judged entry).
CRFM Radio’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winners must collect or accept their prize within the time period stated in the competition announcement or notification message.
If a prize is not collected or accepted within the given period, CRFM Radio CIC reserves the right to withdraw the prize entirely or, at its discretion, redraw a new winner or donate the prize to charity.
CRFM Radio accepts no responsibility for any prize that cannot be delivered or collected due to incorrect contact details or failure to respond.
- Publicity
By entering, you agree that CRFM Radio may use your name, location, and (where applicable) photo, audio, or video for promotional purposes across our broadcasts, website, and social media platforms.
No additional payment or reward will be made for participation in publicity.
- Data Protection
By entering via Text, WhatsApp, or email, you agree that CRFM Radio CIC may store your contact details and use them to: Contact you regarding the competition; and Send you future updates or promotional information about CRFM Radio, our partners, or related opportunities.
We may also share your contact details with trusted third parties where necessary for prize fulfilment or relevant promotions.
All personal data will be processed in accordance with UK data protection laws and CRFM Radio’s Privacy Policy.
- General
CRFM Radio CIC reserves the right to:
Cancel, amend, or withdraw competitions without prior notice;
Disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or breaches these terms.
CRFM Radio is not responsible for:
Lost, delayed, incomplete, or misdirected entries; or
Technical failures or events outside our control that may affect competition operation.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
